I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Vanderbilt University and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. I also currently serve as a Co-Editor at Explorations in Economic History.

I completed my PhD in 2015 at the University of Pittsburgh under the guidance of Werner Troesken. Before joining Vanderbilt in August of 2019 I was an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at the College of William & Mary.
